# Minting guide

How to mint Buffies NFT project:

Here is a tutorial to guide you through the NFT minting process. Follow these easy steps to buy your first Buffies NFT and be a part of the brotherhood.

Download and install MetaMask Wallet. Start on <https://metamask.io/>. You’ll find instructions on how to download the wallet. Metamask is a cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to store and purchase NFTs. Metamask can also be used as a browser extension as an app via an Apple or Android device.

Create an account and wallet. Start with the “Create a Wallet” option. If you have an existing software wallet and are wanting to transition over to MetaMask, select the “Import wallet” option.

Add funds to your MetaMask wallet to purchase a Buffies NFT. Sending from an exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken etc.) will be the most direct option for you to transfer tokens into MetaMask. ETH is the default token, as MetaMask is an Ethereum wallet and you require ETH for the Buffies mint.

Once the official link will be shared in announcement , go to the mint website and click on the "Mint" button. This will open Metamask, then confirm the transaction.

Purchasing NFTs involves gas fees. Indeed, the Ethereum network requires gas to execute transactions. When you send tokens, interact with a contract, send ETH, or do anything else on the blockchain, you must pay for that computation. Refer to <https://metamask.io/1559> for details. To avoid any issue during the purchasing process, please add 0.02-0.05 ETH to cover gas fees. So the mint requires 0.088 ETH + 0.02-0.05 ETH.
